This piece is about strength (represented through the resilient palma) of understanding your 2 iternal spirits that create our internal soul, as well as coming to peace with the balance of your mache spirit (represented with warm colors) and muche spirit(represented with cool colors). Finding this balance creates a representation of gender fluidity and non-conformidity of binary genders (imposed in colonized spaces, represented through the white palm leaves). It's about the cultural journey of spirituality, and finding strength within the Queer community for support in non-indigenous spaces.
