This piece is about indigenous healers and the energy they borrow from various natural elements.
In Totopek community the dots represent a person's work status (3 dots =an apprentice under them, and that apprentice has their own). Black line across presents a healer's oath to always serve all peoples of the land. Totopek Spirit color: painted from hair line and bottom of the jaw to the highest and lowest points of the lips. Red for my healer and mentor.
